Jesus’ words to Daniel in a vision…
But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. Daniel 12:4
In Peter’s first Pentecost sermon… the Spirit of God said… through Peter…
But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:
“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;” Acts 2:16-17
In Paul’s last instructions to Timothy, he said this….
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-7
Jesus IS appearing to many, many, people today. No matter how we ‘feel’ about it – ‘things’ are speeding up. Jesus doesn’t cater to our ‘opinions’. The Lord of Lords, and Kings of Kings, does not need our permission or approval. Jesus doesn’t comply to “our” theology or our understanding. We have become way too egocentric. The universe does NOT spin around us. God does not ask our opinion on the way He should do things. We need to begin to listen and ask the Holy Spirit questions BEFORE we take the information we are getting and right away putting it in our neatly little crafted boxes of ‘understanding’. Can our understanding and opinion ever be wrong? Are you so stubborn that anything ‘outside’ of your little crafted ideal of how the ‘world’ works and your religious notions … is dismissed? Today this is much of our nation’s ‘political’ division. There is a tremendous amount of ‘mental delusion’ happening currently. But Paul explained that to Timothy. On God’s ‘side’ there is a growing increase of the release of the gifts and power of God. And of course, the enemy counters that with a great increase of ‘false’ spiritual teachers and charlatans. The increase of spiritual deception is also speeding up. The seed war is getting crazy intense these last days! (Genesis 3:15)
What is needed in this wild fast crazy time is spiritual discernment. Direct ‘revelation’ from God. We need moment by moment specific clear and direct communication with the Holy Spirit… personally. How will anyone withstand the arriving and coming great deception? The answer? Only through the clear Truth (Rhema Word) established within their daily lives through the Holy Spirit. (2 Thessalonians 2)
What instruction and Truth has the Holy Spirit directly given to you lately? Are you listening to Him? Are you asking Him questions? Or are you running from the last Sunday sermon, IG post, podcast, video, or the latest book, for the latest ‘spiritual’ instruction in your life? Gleaning, watching, and reading spiritual information is fine … as long as it is ALL filtered and confirmed by the Holy Spirit (Seat of Christ) as to what YOU personally should be learning from it. But do you ever go directly to the Holy Spirit with your questions… first? We MUST learn to clearly hear His Voice for ourselves! Read the Word WITH the Holy Spirit teaching you as you read it!
Father… we love YOU! Jesus speak to our hearts! Holy Spirit teach us YOUR Voice! Help us discern YOUR daily instructions to us!
