He will speak words against the Most High [God] and wear down the saints of the Most High, and he will intend to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, [two] times, and half a time [three and one-half years]. Daniel 7:25
Have you been feeling the weariness of the spiritual war these past few years? Does this strategy of the enemy of God seem to be more and more evident in your eyes? Under great duress we begin to let go of perimeter things, working out, reading, and other soul satisfying ventures. As the creep of heaviness encroaches closer to home – we tend to begin to let go of our hope, our joy, and even our …faith. The war is real. But this desolation does not have to win or conquer you. We must remember and nurture the very Presence of God in our hearts where He dwells. God wants to give us Eden in our hearts, He wants to create a way for us.
The poor and needy are seeking water, but there is none;
Their tongues are parched with thirst.
I, the Lord, will answer them Myself;
I, the God of Israel, will not neglect them.
I will open rivers on the barren heights
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a reed-pool of water
And the dry land springs of water.
I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia, the myrtle and the olive tree;
I will place the juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,
So that they may see and know,
And consider and understand together,
That the hand of the Lord has done this,
That the Holy One of Israel has created it. Isaiah 41:17-20
This is what He can do … in our inner most being, and in our heart and minds. He can create an Eden in the most desolate of times and places. He certainly can do this within us. Can you ask Him to do this within you? Ask Him to make an Eden in your heart.
Jesus invites you to come to Him.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Do you need His rest to calm your soul and heal your heart?
Prayer:
Father we ask you to create Eden in our hearts and souls. Come and fill our heart and soul with your garden creation ability. Come Lord Jesus and give us Your rest. Strengthen us Holy Spirit by Your mighty power. Fill us to overflowing, I am Yours …even though I seem to be a broken vessel. Holy Spirit fill in the broken cracks of my life with Your glory and Presence. Father you are my peace and love. Lord Jesus You are my salvation and healer. Holy Spirit You are my comforter and strength.

…asking!
He is truly my strength in my weakness. And I have been coming to him because I labor and find solace in Him.
I cannot imagine life without Him
