Jesus to the Church in Laodicea…
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:18-20
Reader understand .. this was written to Christians. The ‘door of the heart’ Jesus was knocking on wasn’t those who didn’t know Him, but those who were SO comfortable that they refused the conviction of the Holy Spirit. They had refused the Voice of the Lord in their own hearts, BECAUSE they were so comfortable and ‘rich’. Isn’t the American Church in the same place today?
Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers? Psalm 94:16
Evil rises and now is blatantly seen everywhere. Why? Our leaders are corrupt. They are filled with all wickedness, pride, greed, and are extremely self-centered. They are filled with all sorts of sexual immorality and deviancy. They traffic in human misery and death. They prey on the most innocent among us. And unfortunately much of the spiritual leaders in the Church today have so compromised the Voice of the Holy Spirit BECAUSE of mammon .. they have become like those in Laodicea, and they no longer listen to the convicting Voice of the the Holy Spirit in their hearts. So many of the people sitting in those pews are now spiritually immature, deluded, and deceived. They are not ready to battle against the rising evil.
Evil now blatantly rises and shows it’s fangs and love for the blood of our children. No longer in the shadows the evil has permeated almost every industry, not just the media but now medicine and “health” industry. Joining with the global bankers is big pharma and corporate med. Health is no longer their aim but greed and death.
So much of the messages given by these wicked spiritual leaders now preach the ‘goodness’ of men. Men supposedly now have ‘good’ in their hearts. NO! …THEY NEED TO REPENT!
A theme you need to be aware of in the scriptures is the double reference. Where the scriptures repeat themselves… reader be aware … the importance of the meaning.
God looks down from heaven
on the children of man
to see if there are any who understand,
who seek after God.
They have all fallen away;
together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
Have those who work evil no knowledge,
who eat up my people as they eat bread,
and do not call upon God? Psalm 53:2-4
How close is this message to the one given in Psalm 14? (look above)
The ‘time’ and season is one to be …sober and awake. Buy the ‘eye salve’ from Jesus so that you can now ‘see’. It’s time to ‘die’ to yourselves and come ‘alive’ in His Life. It’s time to follow the Holy Spirit’s instructions daily in your heart. How does one ‘buy’ anything from Jesus? By listening to His instructions to you, and receiving His discipline into your hearts, and actually DO what he is asking you to do PERSONALLY.
Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood,
who draw sin as with cart ropes,
who say: “Let him be quick,
let him speed his work
that we may see it;
let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near,
and let it come, that we may know it!”
Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:18-20
WAKE UP!!!
Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
