Encouragement

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Romans 13:2

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

Death is swallowed up in victory.”

“O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 15:50-57

Be encouraged! No matter how dark it gets, no matter how desperate the situation seems, no matter how much evil surrounds you — this life is but a vapor, and the great eternal horizon with light everlasting stretches before us with the One who loves us like no other beckoning us to come and join Him in celebration.

Don’t get drawn in to the enemy’s plans, lift your heads and focus on Jesus. Allow the Holy Spirit to remind you of His Rhema Word(s) He has given you. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you through the Logos Word (His written Word) – step by step. The victory has already been secured by Jesus and He wants to share it with all of us!

Knowing all of this deeply within our hearts let us be diligent to listen for His instructions to us today and walk with Him in the path He wants us to go. Watching for the divine appointments He has set up for us to be His light and life to those He wants us to meet today.

Pray with boldness and joy in the Holy Spirit. Time is precious.
