Heaven is coming!

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:11-13

Search the words ‘heaven coming’ into your favorite scripture search engine and read the results. We often forget that the Lord of Lords IS coming! The King of Kings IS bringing heaven to US! This IS the Truth!

Now think of all those that have been ‘cast down to earth’ exiled from the heavenly realms. Judgment awaits ALL of them. Can you imagine the agitation they are experiencing? Thousands of years waiting for the hammer to drop. All the while they have been able to have the chance to corrupt God’s creation made in His image. To strike hard at the heart of the Father. All of this is coming to an end. The frenetic activity in the realms of the enemies of God must be going into hyper drive as the time closes in.

We wonder why we are experiencing more and more spiritual warfare? We are noticing more and more evil showing up everywhere, and violence, and corruption being exposed left and right. The earth and the heavens are shaking more and more. The ‘signs’ are getting more pronounced. Don’t be so myopic, and self-absorbed to think you are the only one experiencing more spiritual warfare. In fact, the more you push into Him and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you… the more your ‘glow’ / light will shine in spiritual dimensions and you will be an even bigger target. This is why we must learn to utilize our own spiritual armor. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

We should not be surprised by spiritual warfare that is coming against us but encouraged that Jesus is right! Isn’t he always right? I know it’s weird perspective to have, but the Kingdom of God doesn’t run on the same values as in this shadowland. But it does make a little more sense when we read what James wrote…

Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

We should be ready to move and obey Him at even a faster rate. We need to be ‘tuned in’ to the voice of the Holy Spirit within us … like never before. Constantly communicating and conversing with Him. (Praying unceasingly) These are exciting and perilous times. The separation between the light and the darkness is becoming more pronounced with each passing day. The pendulum swing is getting greater.

See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns us from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:25-29

Father …we worship YOU! YOU are a consuming fire! Jesus… YOU are the King of Kings! Holy Spirit help us be ready! Empower us Holy Spirit!
