For to me, to continue living is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21
Terminally committed to Christ is NOT a novel concept but a simple Christian one. All throughout the Gospels and the New Testament letters this concept of dying to self and living in Christ is a fundamental core tenant. What is the problem? We still remain in our flesh in a realm / dimension here on earth that severely limits our eternal spiritual created abilities. So we are convinced we are not who we actually are, or were created to be. Yet when Jesus died and the veil in the temple was torn in two – we immediately had direct access to the Father. We are no longer trapped by sin and this limiting dimension because of our sin. We now have the opportunity to invite Him to live INSIDE our bodies and now utilize us as His temple and dwelling place. This process is a challenging one – as He comes to invite you to think differently, and agree with Him on things that are not what you expect and are sometimes hard to understand. The Holy Spirit begins to teach us about spiritual things and leads us to the Truth … which is Jesus. Over and over the Holy Spirit leads us to the life and heart of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit wants us to agree with Him and what Jesus wants to do through us … moment by moment, day by day. The more we trust Him and are submitted to Him the more He can do through us. The more we listen to His ‘still small voice’ inside of us and … obey Him, the more we mature into His character and love.
The process of becoming more and more TC2 is about learning to agree with Him and trust Him. It is about learning to hear Him and obey Him with willingness and humility. It is about realizing EVERYDAY is now His life and NOT your own. Like a lifelong ‘bond slave’ who now belongs to His Master, everything the ‘bond slave’ does is about serving the Master … for the rest of their lives. But Jesus … no longer sees us as ‘servants’ or ‘bond slaves’ but as friends if we love Him so much to do what He asks of us.
This life is the test. This is the choice. Do we believe Him or not? Do we freely choose Him? Do we willingly agree with the Holy Spirit? Do we give up our wants for His? Like Jesus did for His Father’s plan? Because of this limited dimension we must choose moment by moment to walk with Him or walk our own path. Are you committed to Him so much you are willing to die for Him? TC2.
Once you have chosen this radical commitment to Christ – then you will see this choice all throughout the scriptures. Your physical death no longer has any hold on your heart or soul, you are ALIVE in Him FOREVER. The Holy Spirit will confirm this to you over and over. Real freedom in set into your heart when you live HIS life and not your own. Your life now becomes His to shape and mold and paint upon for others to see His marvelous plan. You become a living vessel of His love and fruit for others to experience.
Are you listening to Him? Are you actually walking to His direct and personal instructions to you… everyday? Are you seeking His instructions and direction by asking Him directly? Has your prayer time become a heartfelt conversation between Him and you … rather than a formula?
Stop the religious life …and today walk in relationship with Him.
He is waiting for you.

Good word for today. Forcing us all to look deeper into our own soul. Are we terminally committed? The knee jerk response by most Christian’s as was mine for years, of course I am.
Only when we get real honest with ourselves can we answer that question truthfully because being terminally committed isn’t a simple decision even though the be made. It’s a cause and effect of real life conflict, hitting us head on with our pathetic Christian walk.
The thief on the cross was blessed to be with Christ in paradise after living a life of sin. But those of us who have walked with the Lord have a different story, we have treats and trials, temptations and struggles.
We develop and earn our terminally committed ranking.
May Papa Bless your hearing, so His soft & tender voice will be very clear to you as He guides you into Eternity.
