When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:14-19
Do you experience and know the strength of the Holy Spirit in your inner most being. Are you asking for the power of the Holy Spirit to empower your inner most heart? Do you trust Him? It is the Holy Spirit that gives you the power to understand the spiritual realm. It is the Holy Spirit that helps you begin to understand the fathomless depths of love the Father has towards you. The Holy Spirit is always pointing you to Jesus and the love He has for you specifically, personally. Do you want to feel complete? This is the way, verse 19 says it clearly. Our completeness comes through the intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, giving us the fullness of life and the power to carry out His assignments for us. To what depth do you know and have experienced the love of God towards you? Is it something that is daily, rather than just something in your past?
What has the Holy Spirit said to you about your inner most heart? Is He asking you to be honest with Him about the things you yourself don’t want to look at in your heart? Dark feelings? Hurts? Wounds? Resentment? Hatred? Are you able ask Him to shine His light on your heart and reveal anything He wants to remove or heal? It begins at the core of your soul / heart. First you must be honest with yourself and admit what you really feel and are holding onto. Can you ask the Holy Spirit to help reveal it to you?
Do you really want to grow spiritually? The deep revelation of the love of God in you – is the way. Spiritual maturity isn’t just knowledge, but deep understanding in relationship with God. It isn’t formulas or rituals, but agape love. The fullness of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) manifest deeply within your life is the evidence of the work He is doing within you. Does His work in you permeate everything you do during the day? Do you listen to His voice throughout your day? Is He advising you in all the matters you are engaged with?
This isn’t a Sunday morning faith. It is a 24/7 moment by moment walk with Him. It is an ongoing deep abiding love relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God wants to reveal Eden to your heart. He wants your heart to grow into Eden.
Come Holy Spirit… do Your work in my heart, You have my permission.
