Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:8
O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. Isaiah 43:2
Abba (Papa)
We seek you early in the morning, asking You to show us our path for the day. You are our supply and nourishment. Teach us Your ways. Fill us with Your love, peace, and joy. You are the Sower of our faith within our hearts, and the Holy Spirit waters our souls bringing us into Your life.
Forgive us Lord of our divergent ways, and please remove our iniquities, and plant us near Your river of life. We long for Your rhythms of life and grace. Show us how to walk with You. We thirst for Your Presence, and we ache for Your touch. You made us to be Your companion upon which You heap your love.
Strengthen our arms and hands to do the work you have set before us, that You would be honored by our obedience. You are our energy, You set the planets in line. Come now and flow through us — to accomplish the tasks to which the Spirit has beckoned us. May Your Word(s) be found coming out of us from the recesses of our hearts, where You have nurtured them by Your Spirit.
We attune our ears and hearts to listen for You. From the smallest whispers of the Holy Spirit, to the shouts in Your Creation. We look for You everywhere in everyone, seeking Your Spirit, Your Family. Help us to recognize them Lord, to treat them the way we want to treat You. Whisper to us what You love about them and what we are to bless them with from the daily bounty You have bestowed on us.
We rejoice in this new day You have given to us — now we set ourselves in Your service.
Lead on Jesus!

A much more soothing devotion to read today than on Oct. 14th! Both are necessary, to open our eyes to what is happening around us.
While those are all possible scenarios (Oct 14), and if you watch the news to the right or the left, you seriously wonder how (if ever) the country will unite. Unite just enough so the words “agree to disagree” are respected once again.
But, I can rest easy at night knowing who sits on the Throne. I continue doing my part of sharing the Gospel wherever, whenever and however I can. People must know, right?!
God’s continued blessings upon you. ❤️✝️🔥

Well … Deb …the Watchman Report isn’t really always ‘good news’ or meant as a devotional, although I’m extremely glad to see you’re reading still ANY of the site. Thank you. It is the tension between the reality we sit in … the physical here and now, and that is getting more messy by the day, and the spiritual side that is becoming more and more the “hope” for those who understand …eternal things. When you climb up on the wall and are shown the goings on of the enemy and the absolute havoc he is doing — it is often hard to relate in a way others will believe you. We will need to develop our spiritual lives even more as the days grow darker here in the …shadowland while we await our arrival into His heavenly abode. IF we are still here then there is time to do the work He has for each of us ..daily. You may not know how important you are… to Him each day. Walk with Him.
