“Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 12:2

and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.” Romans 11:7-9
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Revelation 3:18
Do you have spiritual eyes to see? Do you have ‘ears’ to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit within your being, mind, and heart? These questions are for many people really scary. Some think that the only reality is what we can experience through our five physical senses. Yet… the scriptures describe a different reality. Forces and authorities and principalities working against the human creation (Ephesians 6). The unseen realm IS real!! While you may agree with this statement intellectually it is another to ask God to help you experience that unseen realm. Fear controls way too many of us. Fear cripples so many people. Do you trust Jesus? Have you learned to trust the Holy Spirit? How much? What can you testify to in a personal way about that trust? The enemies of God want to put veils over the eyes of followers of Jesus. The enemies of God constantly set traps and snares to hold believers in lies. Have you ever asked the Holy Spirit to show you what you are trapped in? Have you ever asked Jesus what lies you have agreed with? These questions again can feel very scary to people who don’t have a deep abiding intimacy with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Do you know God loves you? To what depth of your soul can you feel that love? Have you ever asked Jesus to help you experience His love at a deeper level? Have you ever asked Jesus to give you ‘eyes to see’?
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
What exactly is that “new creation”? You’ve become an ‘amphibian’, now made to be within the spiritual realm AND the physical realm. You’ve been ‘born again’ with new abilities in Christ through the Holy Spirit. So now …with your Guide / Holy Spirit … what have your learned from Him about the unseen realm(s)? How has He introduced you to aspects of Jesus you’ve never seen or experienced before? How much have you truly yielded your mind and heart to the Holy Spirit or are you still dictating what He can and cannot do in you?
Do you know the Holy Spirit as One who moves gently within you? He is a Gentleman of the highest order. Love is His main characteristic. Have you experienced that about Him in your soul? Do you slow down enough to actually seek Him out? Are you finally ready to surrender to Him … in every area of your life? From personal experience I can testify that this surrender is not just a one-time deal. Every day produces even more challenges that require me to surrender again to Him and His guidance and help.
Jesus …we give everyone and everything to YOU! Come Holy Spirit and make your Presence known to me … today, right now. Speak to me Lord that I can know what is on YOUR heart. Lord …I surrender again to YOU. Help me. Give me eyes to see and ears to hear YOU!
