For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

Zombie = a person held to resemble the so-called walking dead, and a person markedly strange in appearance or behavior. I was never a ‘zombie’ movie fan or a fan of the ‘horror’ literary genre. But then I reluctantly watched a few episodes of the “Walking Dead” (TV series). The spiritual parallels were astounding to me. Just as the Holy Spirit will enlighten so many things to me as I read and watch certain fictional works. I am realizing so many people now could literally be designated a ‘zombie’ as they no longer think for themselves. These zombies have zero critical thinking skills but only a singular instinct drives them. The Bible actually speaks to this type of individual. Romans 1 actually describes this type of behavior.
Now we see so much zombie-like behavior happening on college campuses. No real understanding but moved only by certain agitators whipping up the zombie mobs in the direction they want them to go, or chant, or destroy. That was well displayed and depicted in the Walking Dead TV series— where certain factions of “normal” humans looking for dominance and power over other “normal” humans learned how to harness the power of the zombie mobs for the destruction of those they wanted to overthrow. This is what is now happening on so many college campuses. Violent rhetoric and mindless chanting is all the rage. Protest for just protest sake. No real thought — just zombie behavior.
But this phenomena is not just limited to the college campuses. Levels and shades of these tactics are used by the enemies of God in all ‘mind’ warfare. I am now seeing it in so many different institutional settings and and industries. Deference to the narrative of the ‘uppers’, the elite, the ‘experts’, the ones in charge. Whatever they say must be the truth, even if they were saying the exact opposite just the day before. We are just to be good little zombies and ‘go along’ with those who ‘know more than we do’. We aren’t allowed now to do our own research. Self research is now seen as ‘bad’ by these zombie controllers. Zombie behavior is seen as being a ‘good party member’. This tactic is very much part of communism. I see this all over the progressive socialist tactics that have a major foothold in American politics today. So many are spiritually blind to the actual ‘forces and principalities, pulling all of their ‘puppets’ strings. So many of the leaders of these movements are they themselves zombies in many ways.
We are NOT to be this way! We have been given by Jesus and the Holy Spirit direct access to the TRUTH! We are to have the Truth and discernment through the Holy Spirit. We have free will to choose and love as Jesus did. Is the Holy Spirit giving you directions or are you being swayed by the winds, storms, and ideologies of culture and current academic taught nonsense by teachers who basically want to give the middle finger to God? We should be learning from the Holy Spirit who drives us to the Word for deeper spiritual insight and revelation. Research being sober minded and how important that is — in learning how to conduct your life. Research what is means to take every thought captive to Christ. As the days count down the lies and falsehoods will only increase, and the deception will grow exponentially.
Are you ‘awake’ or woke? Those two words are now describing polar opposites.
