I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope; Psalms 130:5
Wait. Be patient knowing His timing is always perfect. Trust in Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you be patient through the situation you are currently in. For the arm of the Lord is not short in regards to you, for He IS your salvation and hope.
Do not comply to the enemies demands – knowing to Whom you belong. You serve only … One. Be like those who stayed faithful in their allegiance to the Lord in the most dire situations and faced their death knowing the promise given to them by their God.
If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” Daniel 3:17-18
Jesus to His faithful said this … “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.” Luke 12:4
Listen. Hear the Words the Lord speaks to your mind. Listen to His whispers to your soul.
And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper. 1 Kings 19:12
Learn to wait in silence. Allow His fruit of peace calm your soul. Be aware of His Presence.
When the storm rages around you — know His Peace. For He has given you His Spirit.
So the (ekklesia) church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied. Acts 9:31
Have you experienced His comfort in your time of need? Has He spoken to your soul (heart) when you needed it most? Were you listening?
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; Isaiah 59:1
Knowing these things deep in your heart, mind, and soul.
Wait.
Wait in confidence.
Wait in expectation.
Wait … listening.
Be ready to obey Him quickly.
