Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10a
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. Psalm 62:1
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; Ecclesiastes 3:7
But the Lord is in His holy temple;
let all the earth keep silence before Him. Habakkuk 2:20
When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Revelation 8:1
Can you sit in silence? Can you calm your mind, heart, and soul before God? Can you ‘wait upon the Lord’ in silence? Do you KNOW that He is God? What does that realization do for your soul?
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Stop. Take a deep breath, let it out slowly. Know that He makes that possible for you. Know your heart beats because of Him. If you allow Him to fill you … where will the fear go? Do you really know that your final destination is secure… in Him? Knowing this deeply … now rest in that. Breathe. Be still. Calm your mind … and focus on Jesus.
Can you set everything on the foot of the cross? Can you give everyone that you love to Him?
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
Now give Him this day, this time, and the totality of yourself… in this moment. Ask Him to fill you with His peace, joy, and love. Breathe. Be silent before Him. Listen.
Come Holy Spirit and fill us with the Presence of Jesus!
Father… help us to experience YOUR love! Jesus… we acknowledge YOU! We praise YOU! We love YOU! Holy Spirit fall on us! Fill us with all of YOU!

Not an easy task. At least I remember when it was difficult. Sitting in silence requires being able to shut out all the other voices and thoughts that can bombard us
It takes practice and determination but is so worth it
I enjoy sitting in silence taking deep breath’s. Continuing to meditate and read , there’s a real sense of coming and comforting feeling with each breath I take.
