One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in His temple.
For He will hide me in His shelter
in the day of trouble;
He will conceal me under the cover of His tent;
He will lift me high upon a rock.
And now my head shall be lifted up
above my enemies all around me,
and I will offer in His tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the Lord. Psalms 27:4-6
With the craziness continuing to grow, and the evil cloud continuing to spread out, with chaos popping up more and more — what should we do? Call upon the Lord. Seek His Presence in your soul and spirit. Breathe in, breathe out, and know that He is God. Ask the Holy Spirit to activate His fruit within you. Sing and make melody to the Lord.
The crowd joined in attacking them, and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this order, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, Acts 16:22-25
No matter the circumstance, no matter the pain, no matter the injustice — I will praise the Lord. Can you make that declaration now? Can you begin to set your mind to that commitment, that stance? When chaos reigns fear is right beside it. We must NOT allow fear to dictate our reactions and attitude. Easy to say — not so easy to do. This is why we go through tests and trials to see how far our endurance will go. How much faith do we actually have – versus what we ‘say’ we have. Are you currently being tested? How are you doing? Are you ‘making melody to the Lord’ or complaining? Note: others are listening and watching you.
Now is the time to surrender to the Lord! Not later … but NOW! Now is the time to work on hearing and listening to His Voice. Learning to hear that Voice of Peace in your mind — in the midst of the storm violently crashing around you. We must learn that we WILL have troubles in this life — but that He is with us THROUGH it ALL!
Jesus said…
I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Climb into the ‘yolk’ with Him.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30
A yolk was the wooden holder that joined the oxen together that pulled whatever needed to be pulled. Jesus wants you to join Him in the ‘work’. How will we know what He wants us to do and work with Him in? The Holy Spirit will tell you. Not the ‘preacher / pastor’, not the elder, certainly NOT me — for anyone who really is His …knows He is the ONLY True shepherd. It’s the Holy Spirit who has the answers for you …NOT others. When you are all alone facing crisis — it is at that time you find out how much you trust Him. That’s when you find out if you can really hear Him.
As the roar of the storm and chaos grows — may the sound of praise and worship be heard coming from His faithful. Will you be in that number?

I love the part where Paul and Silas are singing and praising God……. And the rest of the prisoners were listening…. All of our steps and actions people are watching and listening
