Faith Hope Love

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:20-21

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Do these three ‘abide’ in you? The Greek word abide / “menó” is used here as a verb to mean something that will survive, live, and endure. All of these take ‘revelation’ of the Word / Rhema to our hearts placed there directly by the Holy Spirit. These three are the foundation of your belief and anchor Him in you. We know Him through these three. Faith is a gift and fruit of the Holy Spirit deposited into us.

Revelation of His love for you resides deep within you — and is the Source of all healing, and life. One cannot exaggerate more of the importance of His Love towards us. When we grow in relationship with Him .. it is the depth of this revelation of His love which determines the strength of our commitment to Him. Are you looking to have a deeper relationship with Him? Then it will have to do with understanding in greater depth of His love for you.

How do we experience His love for us? How do we go towards allowing His love to plumb the depths of our very being? Like any relationship it takes time and a desire to be together. We learn more as He shares His secrets and heart towards us… personally. If we really want to grow and strengthen our relationship with Him .. then we will want to honestly pray more. We will want to worship and praise Him more  when we are alone. We will want to have more conversations with Him. We will want to see more of Him. We will begin to center our lives around Him. For as the revelation of His love expands within us — our lives become changed .. into the likeness of Jesus by the working of the constant tutelage by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit IS the relationship currently that needs to be the foremost priority in your daily life. Learning how His Voice sounds within you. Learning how to discern Him moving in your life. Learning how to be obedient to His prompting. Learning how to be quickly faithful to step into the things He is teaching and asking you to do. When this relationship with the Holy Spirit grows within us .. all our relationships will be centered and grounded in Truth.

Is the Holy Spirit teaching you about humility? Is the Holy Spirit developing a very sensitivity to Him in what you are and aren’t allowed to do and say? Is He requiring you to have a spirit of repentance when you get off His path? Is He reminding you daily of what He has given you … producing a real gratefulness in you? Are you rehearsing His benefits in your soul? Are you thankful for His present work in your life?

Are you drawn to His light? Are you drawn to His fire? Are you drawn to Him more and more? Pray. Listen to Him. Worship Him. Praise Him. With all that is … within you.
