There is an epidemic of lying currently in this country. Lies and falsehoods are everywhere, especially in the halls of governmental leadership, the corporate media, big pharma, and corporate medicine. The vast majority of our leaders lie with impunity. They are the exact example of the above scripture. With so many of our leaders full of deceit the example is set for anyone who loves evil, and is full of greed and lust. And like a massive flood it is working its deadly effect into every nook and cranny of this nation. Social media is not helping us, yet it has seeped into the majority of our lives. Go ‘old school’ and have face to face / in person conversations with people. Reconnect with other humans and BE in their physical presence.
Sexual immorality and the attack on the innocence of children is an abomination and it is at an all time historical high in this country. The evil is going hard after all of the children. Our current government leadership is paving the way for this evil.
There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers. Proverbs 6:16-19
We as a nation are now guilty of every one of these things God hates. Thus the consequences are beginning to work it’s toll on every sector of our nation. We are dying in many ways.
For the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23a
I’d tell you to read 2 Peter chapter 2 to see what the apostle says about what has infiltrated the religious systems.
So many are deceived by their lies and cannot see the trap they have fallen into. We MUST have the discernment of the Holy Spirit in our lives …. NOW! Religion will not longer help — we must have the intimate relationship of the indwelling Presence of God (Holy Spirit) within us, guiding us, teaching us, and revealing the Truth of things. Without Him we WILL fall for the lies. The enemies of God have been around a LOT longer than we have. They have mastered lying, because the father of lies has taught them for thousands and thousands of years. You are not a match to their experience. ONLY the Holy Spirit can reveal the Truth to you now. Jesus has done His work and He has sent the Holy Spirit to guide us and teach us now. Don’t rely on a human to tell you the truth (Leader / pastor / authority), but check EVERYTHING through the Holy Spirit.
Don’t be deceived! How can you know if you have been deceived?
1. Establish a strong communication relationship with the Holy Spirit. Learn His Voice within you. Read the Word.
2. Ask Him to reveal any lies you have believed.
3. Repent for the ones He reveals in you.
4. Bring every thought and fact to Him before you believe it.
5. Listen to Him. Obey Him.
Learn that discipline before it is too late. NOW is the time to press in with the Holy Spirit!
