You ARE His project and art!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

This is a GREAT mystery! This verse is very unique! The commentaries all work very hard to try to explain this verse. Predestination? Time? Omniscience? Oh… how I love that the Holy Spirit often ‘speaks’ over our heads the Truth from the eternal perspective! To think we can understand multi-dimensions and time – is a child-like trait. As a four-year old we are absolutely sure why the sky is blue! Now the more I learn from Him the deeper the revelation goes, and the ‘mystery’ and my questions only grow in number. His ‘expanse’ is beyond my current comprehension. Then here is the fact …that He was thinking of us ‘before’ we were ‘us’. (mind blown emoji)

Yet …here we are stuck in ‘today’. It is all we have currently. So… the ‘present’ is what we must deal with. Our call is to ‘walk with Him’ — today. So how will we know which ‘good works’ He will want us to do? Are we listening for His instructions for today? Is our heart ‘tuned’ into the whisper of the Holy Spirit? Can we discern His direction for us today? Are we in conversation (prayer) with Him – discussing His heart for us today? This is our daily challenge. Where is my focus? Do I constantly bring everything to Him? Do I really believe He wants this kind of relationship with me?

Do you trust Him when that weird thought pops into your head – to say something, or do something for someone? Can I discern and know it is Him? Have you learned that process yet? This life adventure can get really exciting and messy as we walk with Him. Just look at the four gospels and the disciples and their daily walk with Him. Pretty exciting AND challenging! Certainly …not a ‘regular’ life… like everyone else who are just going through their day. Miracles? Confrontations with the ‘religious’ sects? Meeting and talking with everyone who we would regularly … stay away from. Life walking with Jesus is … surprising …to say it lightly!

Are you ready? How much do you trust Him? Are you ready to take His hand … and walk out the day with Him in the lead?

Father… YOU are amazing! Jesus… YOU lead us! Holy Spirit … help me to see, hear, and obey YOU in all Jesus is asking me to do today!
