but this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,
‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
And your young men will see visions,
And your old men will have dreams;
And even on My male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days,
And they will prophesy. Acts 2:16-18
Are you ready to be used in the final wave of the Great Awakening? The fire has already begun to spread. Many though will scoff and belittle this ‘word’. They will say “Where? When? We haven’t seen it. It isn’t coming.” But … for those with hearts already aflame with the Spirit … they hear the ‘call’ of the trumpet to “GO!”. Many have been prepared. Many have been held in ‘waiting’ with Him.
Some have been made to be a ‘firebrand’ of the Lord. (My definition of firebrand here is: One who lives passionately in total devotion and surrender to His call, who is filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit.) Many firebrands began this ‘life’ as a child going through an experience with God that forever changed their life and path. The term that marks my ‘path’ through the fire and ‘death’ experience was coined Terminally Committed To Christ (TC2).
Prophecy is like a stone dropped into a lake which causes many ripples in the water. Each ripple in time marks the effect of the stone / Word, and eventually there is the final ripple that completes the effect of the prophecy. The ‘last days’ can be defined and interpreted in many ways. But there will be a final ripple that completes this prophecy fully. Is this the time? I don’t know – but I do know I see a ‘wave’ of the ripple coming from this prophecy. Are you ready to ‘catch it’? I see it coming from outside of the ‘four walls’ of the institution and invading into those Churches, towns, and cities ready and thirsty for His fire and Truth. It won’t come from the ‘well known’ professional preachers but from the unknown hidden servants of the Most High. Arrows aflame ready to be launched by the Archer who is aiming at His targets. These have been made ready and sharpened with a lifetime of experiences with Him, and held secretly in the Lord’s quiver to be used in the ‘final wave’ of this prophecy. These arrows taken from His quiver and will be lit and fired to start His fires in people and places.
What does He show you in your prayer times with Him? What are you dreaming about? What is within you ready to be spoken like a ripe fruit to a hungry soul. Are you ‘pregnant’ with His Word? Is His living water spilling out of you? What prophecy / word is He putting on your tongue and in your mouth? Stir yourself up IN HIM! Dance, shout, and proclaim His freedom to the captives!! Do it in your prayer closet. Do it on your walks with Him. Do it enough that you are READY to proclaim it to ALL …as the Holy Spirit prompts you.
Father- light us up with Your fire! Holy Spirit fan the flame You have put within us! Jesus take aim at Your targets and launch us to be Your servants of Love, freedom, and liberty. Father make ready Your ‘ministers’ a flame of fire, for ‘such a time as this’.
He makes the winds His messengers,
Flaming fire His ministers. Psalm 104:4
And regarding the angels He says,
“He makes His angels winds,
And His ministers a flame of fire.” Hebrews 1:7
He has bent His bow and taken aim.
He has also prepared deadly weapons for Himself;
He makes His arrows fiery shafts. Psalm 7:12b-13
