A simple litmus test.

So everyone who acknowledges Me before men, I also will acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33

Humans have a terrible habit of attempting to sit in His chair of judgment. God’s Throne is not a ‘play thing’. When you judge others out of your own knowledge and opinion, you venture dangerously close to attempting to sit in His seat. Who really is His? Ultimately that is His decision. It’s His omniscient ability that makes us just silly and stupid in comparison to His knowledge.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

So many are quickly making rash statements now of people saying that they are not “Christian” or they condemn them as something heinous and hateful. *sigh* From extreme TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) to wild deification of Trump – to classifying others in one ‘camp’ or another – the accusations are increasing and flying. Oh the need for the Holy Spirit to be looked to for wisdom, instruction, and discernment is increasing exponentially right now in these days and season of massive stress and instability.

But Jesus LOVES His “Church” / His Bride. (This is NOT the institutional system BUT the individual people, please understand this Truth.) WE do NOT go to church WE ARE the Church. So He is allowing some cleansing to happen right now. It’s not easy when so much sin is being exposed. But the consequences to all of our rash choices are His to choose, so that His love might be revealed to the highest degree. We now ALL need to surrender to Him daily asking the Holy Spirit to speak LOUDLY and clearly to us throughout our day. All of our personal sin is also being exposed. We so desperately need the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We NEED His fruit. We NEED His wisdom. We NEED His instruction. We NEED His understanding. We NEED His Presence to be felt and experienced! We NEED His Voice to be clear in our minds! We need to be His ambassadors NOT His henchmen casting judgment on others. We need to be looking for the Fruit of the Holy Spirit and listening for His wisdom.

Jesus is looking for that spotless Bride.

Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless by Him, at peace, 2 Peter 3:11-14

Are you first praying for those humans / people you see as your ‘enemies’, or our ‘leaders’? Not through clenched teeth but actually allowing the Holy Spirit speak to you as to what you should pray in agreement with Him? What is your motivation? What is your focus? Yourself, or Him? Who really is in control in your life? Is it flesh and blood you see as your enemy? (Ephesians 6:12)

Are you seeking His words before speaking your own? Are you asking Him what to say? Maybe we need to pause more and seek Him in prayer, before reacting and speaking out of our emotions and the flesh.

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  Matthew 5:43-45

Father, I submit to Your will.

Jesus I love You.

Holy Spirit come and make Your Presence known to each one of us. Teach us Holy Spirit.
