Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18
There is a line in your heart and soul – that needs to be crossed. That line is commitment to the Lord. It takes looking at the faith implanted in you by God. Then trusting Him beyond fear … to step into storm / void – over that line … saying to yourself “No matter what Lord – I will trust and follow you!”
You may lose all of your finances –
you may lose all of your friends –
you may lose your reputation –
you may lose your family –
… but you continue to stay beyond ‘the line’ of turning back.
No turning back – I have decided to follow Jesus.
You fully understand now – your life is NOT your own.
Walking through those storms WITH Him … develops that trust to be strong and bold. You’ve personally experienced His faithfulness. What other people say – no longer bothers you. Your face is like flint … as you walk straight into the storm / fire.
God is developing a remnant now for the final showdown.
Don’t complain.
Don’t grumble.
Know He is preparing you.
You now have become Terminally Committed To Christ.
