Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” John 8:42-47
How many leaders does this now characterize? How many leaders ‘say’ they ‘know’ Jesus Christ but everyone can tell from their actions that they don’t know Him? When did lying become the natural thing to do as a governmental leader? When did the truth become the enemy of the government? When did those that speak the truth become enemies of the State? We have a VERY serious problem in our country. Dishonesty is EVERYWHERE and spreading as something that is to not be scared about. And we wonder why crime is spiraling out of control? Are there no morals or ethics left … that are to be cherished? Has the fear of God become absent in our country? Have the lies from the ‘false accuser’ (as Jesus names) become the main thing believed in this country, and thus everyone who believes his lies — have become like him and his children? Those children are everywhere now.
The example being set for the current generations by our leaders is to …lie. From the very top (President) all the way down to the lowly supervisor over the minimum wage worker. From the teacher to the student, and the student to the teacher. Where has the value of the truth gone? When we threw out God from our morals – we threw out the truth. Ethics?! Where have they gone? How fast we have slid in the last 60 years? When technology took over it seems the truth went out the window as well. When the church leaders sold their soul for silver (501c3 in 1954). When we allowed education to be taken away from the Church and given to the godless government. When we deemed Christian prayer to God in school to be too dangerous and it had to be banned. But every other religion is celebrated and taught.
How exactly is the truth actually discerned these days? Without a deep intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit the truth of things will allude you. Without His advice and helping you remember scripture for the pertinent situation in front of you — you will be deceived. Without His understanding of the scriptural wisdom you have you will not be able to apply it correctly. That’s why Solomon advised those that get wisdom from God to get understanding as well. Real spiritual understanding only comes from one Source — and that is from the Holy Spirit. How much do you know Him? How well can you hear His Voice in your mind? How well have you learned to follow His advice for the situation in front of you? Has the Holy Spirit told you when something is NOT the truth? Has He warned you about when something is a lie? Has He told you when someone is lying?
Did you succumb to the lies of the last big global governmental psyop / so called pandemic? Did you succumb to their lies and took the experimental drug they told you to take? Did you wear a mask thinking it would keep you safe? Did you give into fear with each new step and lie? Did you actually do your own research while asking the Holy Spirit what the truth was? Did you follow His lead — or did you do what you wanted? How many church leaders succumbed to the lies as well, and asked their congregants / followers to follow along with them? How many repeated the same lies the government leaders were giving everyone?
When did the Church leaders stop teaching about the Holy Spirit? When did they stop doing actual discipleship? Our generations are in BIG trouble. And the degradation of society has now increased exponentially. Lying is the more the norm now than the truth. In fact .. the truth is rare. When someone speaks the truth now — they are usually shouted down or dismissed. Division is now everywhere — which is a direct result of abandoning the truth.
The deception is now at a fever pitch. It is higher than I have ever seen in my life. Will it get worse? Most definitely. It is like a wave headed for the beach. It will grow until it crests and crashes onto the shallow water right before the shore. The lies now have swept up every industry and institution, and every government.
But there is a ‘rock’ that the waves bash against day and night and is never moved. That ‘rock’ is the truth.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27
There is only one hope left. In fact… there has always only been one hope… His name is Jesus. Our hope is in our repentance before Him.
for it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 10:11
What does Jesus baptize His friends with? How can you know who are His real friends? Do you have access to the truth? Do you believe it? Has He told you which lies you have already accepted? Are you allowing and asking Him to show you the truth of things?
