The day is coming!

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:18-25

What are you waiting for? Are you inwardly groaning too for the fulfillment that God has promised? Is the Holy Spirit giving you lessons in His fruit of patience? And what is the harvest of the fruit of patience? Salvation. Completion. Joy. And the concept of hope in the new covenant is not a ‘pie in the sky’ slim chance like winning the lottery — it is a ‘sure’ thing that has not yet come.

Right now when corruption and evil seem to be winning the day in this country – we know that God  / The Judge is fair and just and will exact consequences for sin … in His timing. We must learn to TRUST Him to exact the correct due punishment for all of the injustice we face. And IF the injustice we face is because of our faith in Him and His son Jesus Christ for speaking and doing the things through the Holy Spirit He has asked us to do — then our reward is GREAT! For those of us who are terminally committed to Him understand that our lives and each day we are here are NOT ours but His .. to do His bidding, for we truly are His bond-servants. 

There is a day coming that will be GLORIOUS! What a day that will be! It is for that day we watch and we wait with patience — while following through with the instructions He has given us while we exist here in the shadowlands. All of creation groans with us for that day. And the childbirth pangs continue to increase in severity and intensity. This is the way. So let us follow in the example of those who have went before us and praise Him in this day whether we are in much or in little, whether we are in chains or free, whether we are in sickness or health — let us praise Him for His goodness and mercy towards us.

Praise Him all you creatures great and small. Praise Him for His mighty works. Praise Him for His salvation offered to us by the blood of the Lamb. Praise Him for all that He has done for you. Sing with grateful hearts and with loud voices that all might hear of Him. For we certainly don’t want to give the rocks and opportunity to outshine us in our love and devotion to Him!

He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” Luke 19:40

And in the midst of trials and afflictions we praise Him! For we know our ‘salvation’, we have met the King, and He has touched our hearts that has set His eternal promise within us. So be His ambassador today. Listen for your assignment. Recognize the divine appointments He has set for you this day… and be obedient and joyful knowing He is guiding you and you are just in the ‘yoke’ with Him.

The day draws near. Rejoice and be glad!
