But you who forsake the Lord,
who forget my holy mountain,
who set a table for Fortune
and fill cups of mixed wine for Destiny,
I will destine you to the sword,
and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter,
because, when I called, you did not answer;
when I spoke, you did not listen,
but you did what was evil in my eyes
and chose what I did not delight in. Isaiah 65:10-12 ESV
Let us not forget who is the one who brings the victory, who sets Man’s destiny, and brings real justice and truth. Will we quickly forget who our Source really is, now that we have a small victory and reprieve? There is only one true savior … and His name is Jesus. We should now come humbly before Him kneeling in prayer asking what He wants us to do now. Now is not the time to be self-righteous. Now is the time to ask Him to reveal the corruption deep within us, lest we fall even harder into the pit, and be cast from His Presence.
Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom—it’s animal cunning, devilish plotting. Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.
Real wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor. James 3:13-18 MSG
Let us not forget what got us into the situation we are in… how we forgot what is important and holy before God. What is next? We have to continue to humble ourselves, and turn from our wicked ways. Let us not be like the person who sees themselves in a mirror and the moment they walk away forget what they really looked like. How does one repent from the killing of 70 million of the most innocent souls? How do we make amends? How do we reconcile that with God? If we truly want His blessing we now must make humble amends in hopes of reconciliation with Him. Or will we just go back to the way we once were? Will we look to others to make the changes we ourselves need to make?
Honesty in courage. Bravery with humility. Truth with repentance. Can we now be led by His Holy Spirit rather than by our own desires and human pride? Will our spiritual leaders now show us the way by humbly calling for prayer and repentance for our sinful ways as a nation?
One small victory does not absolve us of our sin and wickedness. Let the cleansing begin in the Church. Can our spiritual leaders admit their role in the country’s fall into corruption and wickedness? Can they give up their beautiful robes and lofty positions for the humility of the Cross? Can the professional pastors now look to the One True Shepherd rather than ruling over the sheep as their main shepherd? Can we accept the words coming from the true prophets rather than the Palace Prophets … and truly repent?
Can we be wise and not forget Who is our real Victory?
Now seek the Lord with ALL your heart, soul, and mind, humbly coming before Him asking for His instruction and wisdom.

I love it. It truly is the word for the day. Our own arrogance and self righteousness has blinded us and continues.
So many are seeing this Trump victory as an answer to prayer and to a degree it is but they are naive to the fact that God the Father is still calling us to repentance because we’re not now and haven’t for a long time hearing His voice.
