For Your salvation I wait, Lord. Genesis 49:18
Then Hannah prayed and said, “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord, My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation. 1 Samuel 2:1
The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be the God of my salvation, Psalm 18:46
And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law, then he took Him in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
“Now, Lord, You are letting Your bond-servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
Which You have prepared in the presence of all the peoples:
A light for revelation for the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.” Luke 2:25-32
In Hebrew the ‘word’ salvation is יְשׁוּעָה / yshuw`ah / yeh-shoo-ah meaning deliverance, health, helping, salvation, save, saving health, welfare. Occurring roughly seventy-seven times in the Hebrew Scriptures, the noun יְשׁוּעָה gathers the ideas of rescue, deliverance, help, victory, and the well-being that follows divine intervention. The word most often appears with the definite article—“the salvation”—so that attention is fixed upon the LORD as the exclusive Source and Agent of rescue. (Biblehub)
In Greek the ‘word’ salvation is σωτήριος / sótérios / so-tay’-ree-os meaning salvation, bringing salvation. Strong’s Greek 4992 denotes “salvation,” “saving power,” or “that which brings deliverance.” In its five New Testament occurrences, the term functions both substantivally (“salvation”) and adjectivally (“saving”) to underscore God’s decisive act of rescue in Christ and its transformative reach to Jew and Gentile alike. Are you in need of something? Jesus came so that you would have it. Jesus came to offer the Father’s love and salvation to each of us. It is up to us to receive it. Often the Holy Spirit must bring us the ability to perceive it, and then we have to agree with that truth. It is such a profound experience to perceive who Jesus actually is… Oh the depth of love is beyond imagination. No amount of money or power will really satisfy our soul’s need. That ‘hole’ in our soul was created by God to be filled by Him … alone. We often fall for the enemy’s lies that our soul can be satisfied with something else. Yeshua / Jesus really is the answer to our “need”.
One personal touch or Word from Him changes us forever! What scriptures come to your mind of those who wanted a touch or word from Jesus? Oh… my soul yearns for Him. To finally be able to physically hug Him… just that thought brings me to tears. IS there another place in this entire universe I would want to be? Nope. In the arms of Jesus is TOTAL salvation and wellness and safety. I REALLY long for that day. I know He is with me now. But I’m human and SO desire His physical touch. I desire to hear His laugh again! His Voice. His eyes.
Father … YOU created us to be with YOU! Yeshua / Jesus YOU are MY salvation! Holy Spirit help me to SEE YOUR salvation … and receive it!

1 thought on “Yeshua.”
That was powerful how you closed that out.
Just imagining His smile and embrace is amazing
