Better was a poor and wise youth than an old and foolish king who no longer knew how to take advice. Ecclesiastes 4:13
In this ever-increasingly crazy season where truth and discernment are increasingly hard to find we cannot fall into the manipulated narratives and blind allegiance to ‘hero worship’. Now it seems we must stay polarized into political ideologies lest we endure scorn and ridicule. For me there is ONLY one King. Jesus Christ. All others are actually subject to Him whether they know it or acknowledge it.
for it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11
A wise leader will recognize and heed this Truth.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. Proverbs 9:10
Are our leaders following the Lord Jesus? Are they seeking His advice? Are they surrounding themselves with people who actually follow Jesus rather than just acknowledge His name for political reasons? My questions for Christians now are “Are you actually praying for our leaders? With a genuine desire for them to yield to Jesus and actually listen to the Holy Spirit?” I see so many people who want our leaders to experience harm and some openly express the desire for their death. This should NOT be you. Don’t allow the mental illness propagated by the forces behind the media to brain wash you and manipulate your emotions and thoughts. What does our King want us to do?
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:43-45
Is this what I see on your ‘social media’ posts? Is this the message you are putting out for everyone to see? Or do I see your ‘mental illness’ and a type of derangement on your part? Be careful of not becoming a ‘voice’ that condemns and ridicules. Do you not know and understand God’s law of sowing and reaping?
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Galatians 6:7
A good and loving parent corrects and chastens their child, because to not do so would endanger the child ever more. This world is NOT a forgiving place. It is filled with danger and evil traps. It is filled with unseen forces that wish death on every human being. Are you in agreement with them? Or are you following your King?
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20
Be careful what you say, and post for the world to see. Be wise and ask Him first if that is what He wants you to say and do.
Allow His love to lead you. Quiet yourself and your mind and listen to the advice of the Holy Spirit.
Pause and reflect with Him.
Jesus I give everyone and everything to YOU!
