We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!
This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there’s not a trace of darkness in Him.
If we claim that we experience a shared life with Him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we’re obviously lying through our teeth—we’re not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God Himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God’s Son, purges all our sin.
If we claim that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—simply come clean about them—He won’t let us down; He’ll be true to Himself. He’ll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we’ve never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God—make a liar out of Him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God. 1 John 1:3-10 MSG
The greatest events in true Christian’s life are their intimate personal encounters with Jesus. The first encounter may be their confession, repentance, and salvation event. But the encounters in their lives with Jesus don’t end for the true seeking Christian. We seek Him and His kingdom daily. Many who seek Jesus everyday have deepening spiritual encounters with Him and the Holy Spirit who guide their paths. Their ability to encounter the spiritual realm / real invisible realm only grows as they seek Him with their true heart and soul.
We learn to consecrate our lives to Jesus, and find refuge in Him. Finding healing, restoration of soul, and peace within our minds – as we seek the light we find in Jesus. Have you learned to turn everything over to Him? Have you learned to give everyone you love over to Him? Do you desire Jesus over everyone and everything else? Have you told Him so?
Does the Holy Spirit continue to convict you of the sin in your life? As you grow with Him, He becomes even more invasive asking you to go even deeper within your soul asking you to allow His light into the most hidden dark areas you have. He wants you to invite Jesus into those areas. Can you be that vulnerable with Him? Can you face those dark hidden secrets you hold deep within your soul, and confess them before Jesus?
Real freedom is ONLY found in Jesus. Real life is ONLY found in Jesus. Real Truth is ONLY realized in Jesus. Only through His blood are we truly cleansed and washed clean. Revelation from the Holy Spirit leads us into deep intimate fellowship with Jesus. The Holy Spirit is waiting for us. Can you invite Him in? Can you hear Him? Are you willing to yield to Him? Tell Him so.
Prayer: Holy Father. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for Your love. Father … You ARE my God, I worship You. Jesus come. Jesus… I invite you to speak to me. I desire You above ALL other people or things. Holy Spirit … fill me with Your light. Jesus I love you. Cleanse me Jesus from all my sin and iniquities. I pray the blood of Jesus over me, my family, and my home. Father may your light and glory fill me and everyone in my home. Fill our home with Your Light and Glory and with Your Presence. We agree with You Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Come and have Your way with me.
