Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31
What is the most repeated phrase in the Bible? “Fear not.”
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18
Obviously presently there are two kingdoms, one of light and love, and one of darkness and fear.
Where was fear before the sons of God (angels) fell? Before the first disobedience what was there to fear? Ezekiel 28 describes the fall of the anointed guardian cherub. And fear entered the picture.
Why do you think God uses the phrase “Fear not” so much in scripture? Aren’t we supposed to fear God? Do you think the fear of God and all other fear is the same? Two kingdoms remember? What does fear do? Does it give ‘place’ in our soul? Does it set up shop and attempt to rule? What does the fear of God do? Does it give God His rightful place in our hearts? Do we seek Him to know Him and love Him? Which fear are you feeding? Which fear are you allowing?
Why would God use these words of “fear not” SO much if it was easy? He wants us to know that He is God. What does that mean? Is there anything He cannot do in protection of us? Is there anything He cannot provide for us? Do we really believe He wants to be with us? Do we really believe the words and promises of His son Jesus, that He is preparing a place for us? Do you believe that heaven exists? That anyone who believes in Jesus can be with Him forever?
How about the truth that we are an eternal being. Our soul and spirit are eternal, it is only our body that will die and be changed.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28
Jesus said, “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.” Luke 12:4
Are you Jesus’ friend?
Do you know how short this life is?
For my days pass away like smoke, Psalms 102:3
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Psalms 90:12
In the light and time of Heaven our days are short on this earth. We shall very soon be with Him … and our family.
So cast out ALL fear that doesn’t speak of the goodness and faithfulness and love of God. For His love conquers all.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:7-8
Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
Seek first His Kingdom … everyday and always.
Has the Holy Spirit pointed out any fear in you that you need to command to leave?
