He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man.” Luke 18:2
Even during the time of Jesus there were ‘unrighteous’ judges. What happens when a culture rejects God and His law? What happens when the culture is ruled by greedy and prideful leaders who only twist the laws for their own benefit? These leaders are just like the man Jesus was referencing in this parable, who only care for themselves and don’t fear God or respect human life or dignity. Currently our country is filled with judges like this. What good is the law when judges don’t follow it or interpret it only the way they want to see it? Will justice flee? Lady Liberty will now be shackled and bound by the whims of evil judges.
When you go before the judge will you actually get justice? It no longer depends on the law but the moral and ethical soul of the judge hearing your case. Which judges still fear God and His judgment? Which lawyers actually want the Truth to win? Where righteousness actually is their goal — rather than winning at any cost? We’ve seen the corruption tentacles severely squeeze most of righteousness and justice from the court system – and the evil forces are working and infiltrating nonstop trying to make sure that they will ALWAYS win in the courts. What happens to a country when the courts and law system are corrupt? What avenue is left when real truth is maligned and hated? What happens to freedom when compliance with the evil is the only choice given?
What happens which your church leaders comply with the evil rulers in their city, county, state, and federal government? Are your church leaders actually listening to the Holy Spirit? Is there any evidence of the Holy Spirit being in your church leaders who are listening to Him and confessing their faults to each other? Is there any conviction of the Holy Spirit moving within them?
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16
The enemy has surrounded and infiltrated the camp. What should be our strategy now? Without the discernment of the Holy Spirit — confusion will reign. Without hearing His Voice and knowing exactly His direction and instruction — how will anyone know what decision to make? Do your leaders actually seek the Holy Spirit in prayer? Is there any evidence beyond the words they are speaking?
What will God do now — when most of the leaders have set Him aside, or deny Him blatantly? What does history show when this happens? The old testament is filled with this type of history. Who will suffer because of these evil, prideful, and greedy leaders? When the people have ‘comfort’ they fall asleep.
Are you awake now? Are you listening to the Holy Spirit? What instruction is He giving you? What is He convicting you of? Can you recognize the evil seeping into every remaining crack of the foundation? What are you to do about it? Can you speak the Truth the Holy Spirit is giving you? Or does the ‘fear of man’ rule over your tongue? Now is the time to speak the Truth boldly and clearly, to expose the evil for what it is.
Repent for the times you’ve been deceived and gone the way the evil has suggested, and coerced you. Get right with the Holy Spirit – and set your pride aside. Stand for the Truth — not the way you see it, but by what the Holy Spirit is revealing to you through the scriptures. Too many are still trying to straddle the ‘fence’ and actually don’t stand for anything.
Which side are you actually standing on?
