For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Paradox is the path we often find ourselves on with the Holy Spirit. The mysteries of God surpass the human understanding. The paradox of gaining more knowledge to only realize learning there is way more that you don’t know, is VERY common experience for the astute disciple of Christ through the Holy Spirit. The learning and wisdom from the Holy Spirit if received correctly brings immediate humility and a holy stillness. We are ‘caught’ in revelation that ‘undoes’ our past understanding and expectations. God’s love, the love of Jesus, and the fruit of love by the Holy Spirit … is beyond complete human comprehension. Yet … it is to be our pursuit… and path. That path and pursuit of His love brings … His joy. And His joy brings that path … towards His love.
Expressing the depths of revelation from the Holy Spirit from and within the spiritual realm, is like expressing the deep things within the ‘heart’ in our ‘inner being’. It is very difficult to communicate. Within our soul lies things we cannot fully express.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26
How do we express the inexpressible? How do we communicate things beyond words? How do we describe things we have never experienced before? Poets try to venture into that realm. But we can only go so far …as one dimension cannot fully explain the next higher dimension… or really know what is like.
The complexity of creation … and the depths of intelligent design continues to baffle and astound the scientists. The intricacies at the molecular level in the biology of life is amazing. There is NO doubt about the complex design and thorough engineering. The idea that order comes from chaos by happenstance has been thrown out. Mathematically it doesn’t compute. Yet so as not to ascribe any kind of credit to the Creator the ‘learned’ academics try to ignore the ’signs’ glaring them in their face, and they submit other possible theories… which eventually are also proven false.
So many times I have been humbled by the revelation from the Holy Spirit, that now I just expect it. I have come to realize I know VERY little. And there is a cost for that revelation, as it is dangerous for us personally. How so …you ask?

Are you wanting to go deep with the Holy Spirit and learn more about spiritual things? Then the path of paradox is in front of you. Are you willing to be humbled and have all the things you thought you knew … challenged? How much do you trust Him?
