Read and consider…
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked,
but those who keep the law strive against them.
Evil men do not understand justice,
but those who seek the Lord understand it completely. Proverbs 28:4-5
Many seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that a man gets justice. Proverbs 29:26
How the faithful city
has become a whore,
she who was full of justice!
Righteousness lodged in her,
but now murderers.
Your silver has become dross,
your best wine mixed with water. Isaiah 1:21-22
Their feet run to evil,
and they are swift to shed innocent blood;
their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
desolation and destruction are in their highways.
The way of peace they do not know,
and there is no justice in their paths;
they have made their roads crooked;
no one who treads on them knows peace.
Therefore justice is far from us,
and righteousness does not overtake us;
we hope for light, and behold, darkness,
and for brightness, but we walk in gloom. Isaiah 59:7-9
Justice is turned back,
and righteousness stands far away;
for truth has stumbled in the public squares,
and uprightness cannot enter.
Truth is lacking,
and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.
The Lord saw it, and it displeased Him
that there was no justice. Isaiah 59:14-15
Why do you make me see iniquity,
and why do you idly look at wrong?
Destruction and violence are before me;
strife and contention arise.
So the law is paralyzed,
and justice never goes forth.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
so justice goes forth perverted.
“Look among the nations, and see;
wonder and be astounded.
For I am doing a work in your days
that you would not believe if told. Habakkuk 1:3-5
You have wearied the Lord with your words. But you say, “How have we wearied Him?” By saying, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delights in them.” Or by asking, “Where is the God of justice?” Micah 2:17
Where is real justice?
Only in God.
When the evil rule they make interpretation of the law …evil for their own benefit and profit.
Evil severely wants to change the ‘rules’, change the language, change God’s law, and change basic understanding. Evil sets confusion into the land so as to pervert justice and Truth. Evil twists and manipulates language to mean the opposite of it’s original definition of words. Good becomes evil, and evil becomes good. Evil appoints judges that are evil. When the righteous see evil and do nothing, evil prevails. This is the way of comfort and denial of God.
Read the Old Testament scriptures. The history is evident in the cycles. When God is abandoned and idols are put in His place — the people go into captivity. It can be as quick as one generation.
What will happen next? Middle ground will cease to exist. Everyone will have to choose whom they will serve. No longer will anyone be able to straddle the divide. Read Joshua chapter 24.
Who will you serve?
Are you really terminally committed to Christ? If so .. you will be tested.
