Dreams and Visions in the last days.

But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares,

that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

    and your young men shall see visions,

    and your old men shall dream dreams;

even on my male servants and female servants

    in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heavens above

    and signs on the earth below,

    blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 

the sun shall be turned to darkness

    and the moon to blood,

    before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ Acts 2:16-21

Peter’s sermon is so quickly sped through by most christians and preachers that no one really stops to consider the stark differences between what they actually believe, the culture today, and scripture. “In the last days…” What are ..and when exactly are the ‘last’ days? Now? 

Dreams. Visions. People of ALL ages and levels prophesying. Signs in the heavens AND on earth. How many stop to consider these things? How many have any expectation of they themselves experiencing these things … and understanding them? That having dreams and visions is PART of the work of the Holy Spirit within us. That prophesying should be something we encounter on a regular basis. That the Spirit shows us and teaches us about the ‘signs’ happening around us. Are you experiencing any of these things? Is the Holy Spirit bringing any of these things to you to understand and learn from? 

They said to him, “We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.” Genesis 40:8

Dreams need to be ‘interpreted’ by the Holy Spirit so that you will have understanding. Do you ask Him to do that?

As we march into this year — the intensity of the situations will cause many to increase in fear, doubt, and anger. Many of those that have the indwelling Holy Spirit within them have began to have their ‘faith’ tested and refined at greater levels. The urgency to have a solid and vibrant relationship of communication with the Holy Spirit  (where you’ve learned His voice clearly and immediately recognize Him)… will only increase. His instructions will become the only thing that will ‘save’ you in crisis and dangerous situations. Have you been experiencing these lessons? 

I fully expect people to begin to having dreams and visions more than ever before. I expect that people will be greatly troubled by ‘signs’ in the heavens and earth. An earthquake of a big magnitude of 7.6 hit Japan on January 1st 2024, causing death and great destruction. Is this a ‘sign’ of things to come? What is the Holy Spirit telling you?

Religion will not help you in your time of need. Relationship with the Holy Spirit will.
