Discernment. The Dividing Line.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:14

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:8-10

How important is discernment? Last week ChatGPT led a 40 minute church service. That program has already written some very convincing sermons to the point one could not tell the difference from a logical point of view. AI will quickly be moving into the ‘religious’ space. Without the Holy Spirit indwelling within you, and you having developed the ability to actually hear Him clearly, quickly, and directly inside of you— the ‘deception’ and fake will be believed. The Holy Spirit confirms the Spirit and Truth. AI will NEVER be able to confuse the Holy Spirit.

This will become the dividing line in the religious Christian community. Those with discernment by the Holy Spirit and those who cannot recognize Him. Religion will NOT save you. Ritual will NOT save you. Going to ‘Church services’ will NOT save you. ONLY real relationship and friendship with the risen Jesus, and being indwelled by His Holy Spirit within you, and being able to learn from and listen to Him clearly and concisely, will be your ‘safety’. The ‘printed’ Bible can NOT save you. Demons and AI can quote the Bible better than any human can. I think this has already been proven with ChatGPT.

The prophetic community has been screaming for the last few years. But few actually ‘hear’ them. But the prophetic community has been forced out of the regular ‘meeting’ places by the spiritual leadership. The Lord loves His Bride. But so many are like the five virgins who have run out of oil (Matthew 25). We (the Body of Christ) desperately need real discernment by the Spirit of God for what is at our doorstep. Unfortunately the ‘professional’ Christian leadership has fallen greatly under the same temptation and sin that has ALWAYS been there; putting all sorts of things above Christ and the Holy Spirit, whether it be security, money, influence, power, position, and thinking more highly of themselves than they ought to. They’ve forgotten they are only ‘sheep’ too. Too many have usurped the ‘Head’ position from Christ. So many have become the ‘Holy Spirit’ for their congregations — and usurping His role in their lives. They do that mainly because they themselves have little to no interaction with the Spirit of God. Can you see how dangerous this is now .. that AI is moving into the religious space? The Word is  “living and active”, this certainly means something other than your printed Bible. I pretty sure no one has seen their printed Bible walking around and talking. So what is actually the Word?

Without revelation and discernment from the Spirit of God directly to you … you will never really know the answer to the previous question. Many atheists know the Bible better than 90% of Christians. Surely the demons and the rebellious angels know the Bible better than EVERY human being. So what do we have? If you’ve been immersed / baptized with the Spirit of God — then you have Him, your guarantee, your ‘mark’. That relationship must be nurtured and valued and fought for. For our enemy knows who actually has the Spirit of God within them. They immediately recognize who someone is — and what ‘side’ they are on.  But we NEED the discernment of the Holy Spirit to help us know the Truth of things and people.

Can you discern Him within you? Do you know His Voice in your mind?

  1. I agree fully and I’m right there with you regarding the plight of modern Churchianity.
What we’re need a great deal of now is how to press in, how to learn and develop the ability to hear, how to truly build that real relationship
