The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 1 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Do you love the Truth? Or are you trying hard to fit into all the latest ‘movements’, and media’s narratives? Are you swallowing lies because you still want to be ‘liked’ by the culture? Do you think that tolerating lies you will somehow be the ‘good’ person over those terrible outdated Christians? But you’ll explain you’re just… ‘a little woke’, and you still defend sexual depravity and only some of the sins defined by the scriptures — as the ‘times’ have changed. The time where a person can ‘ride the fence’ between the world and God is almost over. The divide between the Truth and the lies is getting so great now — everyone will eventually have to decide which ‘side’ they’re on. Is murdering innocent blood a good thing or not? Is sex outside of a marriage between a man and woman a good thing or not? Is grooming children for sex a good thing or not? Is pumping your body with all sorts of pharmaceuticals and experimental drugs (because the government says so) a good thing or not? Do you think the amount of melanin in the skin of an individual somehow effects their character and heart or not? Inherently the Spirit of God will let you know the Truth of things. But unfortunately most of America’s spiritual leaders have cast the Holy Spirit aside, and no longer teach about Him. And if they do it’s from a very generic academic simplistic viewpoint. His fruit and gifts are never talked about in depth. Where are the sermons on the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit and how they are worked out in our daily lives? When one works daily on the relationship with the Holy Spirit and purposely works on listening to Him – the Truth about oneself becomes VERY evident. A daily relationship with the Holy Spirit will bring a love of the scriptures. Do you desire to go on scriptural ‘treasure’ hunts with the Holy Spirit? Has anyone taught you how to ‘dig deep’ into the scriptures for yourself?
Now listen carefully.. the opening scripture presents a VERY serious warning most preachers won’t talk about. If a person becomes so stubborn in their stance and beliefs that oppose the Truth …then God will act. How? God will ‘send a strong delusion’ to them basically locking them into that mindset and they will not be able to pull out of it and thus solidifying their fate in the judgment of God and their eternal destination will be confirmed.
How does one know if they have swallowed and internalized lies? That process isn’t really taught by our current spiritual leadership. Because the Truth within someone is only confirmed by the Holy Spirit. How exactly does He do that? He searches the heart of the individual who asks Him to do so .. revealing the sin and falsehoods. Then the individual MUST be willing to listen to Him and .. repent of those sins, and reject those lies. But most have never learned how to discern His Voice within them. So many dismiss His Voice as … something else, and tell themselves .. “That can’t be God speaking to me.” Why do they do that? Mainly because of all the lies that have piled up in their soul. They are so convoluted now they have learned to ‘love the lie’ and think more highly of themselves for doing so, just as the world and media tells them. They’ve actually seared their consciences. So the act of repentance is almost unheard of these days. And most of the pulpits have stopped preaching it. The leaders take the attitude that.. “Repentance is so of the ‘olden days’ and now out of style, for we’ve grown beyond those antique, out of touch, evil Biblical standards and morals.” Almost ALL of of the media works on getting the viewers, and listeners, and readers to reject “all those outdated” morals of that antique past history. Most say now …“We’re enlightened now, we know better. We’ll be like gods and do whatever we want.”
