Completely His

As TC2 individuals we know we’re are always under His authority, life, love, and direction. Our goal is to become everything He desires us to be in His service while we are yet in this earthly life. Knowing this the Holy Spirit continues to bring us the smallest details of our lives He wants us to submit to Him. His patience with us is beyond measure as He never gives up on us.

James 1:4

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

To become entirely His will mean EVERY detail of our lives. This will mean constant reminder by the Holy Spirit on the very same issue we seem to ignore, procrastinate with, dismiss as unimportant, and even lie to ourselves about. His heart is perfection in the plan He has for us. He knows what He designed us for and what we can be.

The littlest things we seem as inconsequential in our lives are not without His care and love. He wants us to be complete and right (perfect) which will mean His scrutiny of us even down to the smallest idiosyncrasies that exist in our characters and lives. His persistence with us is literally God-like as He cares so much for us and wants us to be what He has in His mind when He created us. But He will never insist, He will always continue to ask us to make the choice.

Be aware of the that ‘still small Voice’ of the Holy Spirit whispering in your mind and heart that wants you to take care of the smallest things. Our responsibility is to listen and obey, willingly and quickly. Is anything too small for Him? The One who created things so small that we can barely understand — cares about the smallest things in you as well. So our laziness and carelessness will constantly be challenged by Him.

If you aren’t hearing Him, or if He seems silent to you, ask yourself this question, “What was the last thing He was asking you to do, or take care of in your life?” Sometimes His patience with us can seem like silence or that He no longer cares about us, when in fact it is the complete opposite. He is patiently waiting for you to do that seemingly small thing He asked you to do.

Don’t be careless with His instructions. Be diligent, humble, and grateful for His direction to you. If your feel the nudge to repent to Him — do that too — kneeling your heart before Him.

Let’s continue the lifelong work on becoming completely His.
