Let us test and examine our ways,
and return to the Lord!
Let us lift up our hearts and hands
to God in heaven:
“We have transgressed and rebelled,
and you have not forgiven. Lamentations 3:40-42
Every morning I sit down and seek the Lord in front of this computer, asking Him “What do you want to say / write?” This morning all I felt was a severe sadness. I was then reminded of Jeremiah who had an entire nation turn against him. If you haven’t read Jeremiah’s book Lamentations lately … you should. It reads like God’s heart cry towards America. It’s like a historical cycle — then it was the Nation of Judah and the capitol city Jerusalem, now it’s America. Very very few of God’s people now know His heart, they’re too steeped in religion. We too busy doing the ‘business’ of the Church. Shuffle in and shuffle out… as long as you leave some money. Like a god demands money from you if you want his blessing. *long sigh*
I’m sad the majority of the Body of Christ still don’t know how to listen to the indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. I often hear them say, “I prayed about it, and I feel this is what God wants me to do. It’s okay .. it makes me feel happy.” Supposedly …the Holy Spirit only informs us through our emotions or feelings…. ? I’m so sad so many Christians can’t think critically, and never take anything to the Holy Spirit for confirmation. They never ask the Holy Spirit for the Truth of things. They never wait for His answer to them. But they only do as THEY wish …making up excuses for why they do what they want to do, and throw in that God approves because of how they feel. Most have a very scarce understanding of the scriptures. Most now are ruled by fear and manipulation. *face palm*
I’m sad that I see so many trapped in religion. Tradition and ‘feelings of comfort’ are the most important things to them. And the business of Church is happy to give that to the seekers. Truth is almost never brought up. Why? Because now the very meaning of the word Truth has been so maligned and changed in this culture and time. There’s your truth and then there’s my truth. Everyone has become the arbiter of their own truth. Truth is no longer about God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or the scriptures. Truth is whatever you want it to be. Like, “There are hundreds if not thousands of genders.” “That isn’t a human baby, it’s just a clump of cells.” “Everything the professional medical person says and prescribes for me is for my ‘good’.” *Shakes head*
I’m sad that real spiritual leadership has been cast aside for the ‘professional ministry’. Hirelings and wolves are the mainstay of most Church leadership now. Back in Jeremiah’s time the ‘professional ministry’ were false prophets and priests saying just what the leaders and people wanted to hear. We now also have SO many “professional ministers” just giving to people what they want to hear. The Holy Spirit’s ministry in the individual has been usurped by those academically seminary trained spiritual ‘experts’ who now can tell us what God’s heart is concerned with. No longer is the common person allowed to share what the Holy Spirit is doing in their lives — only the credentialed seminarian worthy of giving spiritual ‘lessons’ or stories. We’ve become drones who only comply to whatever our leaders tell us what is the thing needed for ‘the greater good’. *groans*
Where is the preeminence of Christ? Where is the preeminence of God? Where has the understanding of the Cross gone? Where has the understanding of the Holy Spirit gone? What exactly is God’s ultimate purpose? Do you know Him well enough to know?
(Preeminence = : the quality or state of being preeminent : SUPERIORITY / Preeminent = : having paramount rank, dignity, or importance : SUPREME)
Is there a real remnant of those who truly love God out there?
Can you clearly hear Him for yourself?
If this is you … STAND UP!

Standing up
I think it’s much deeper than money or power with pastors many dont want to rock the boat…..go along to get along!!! FEAR OF MAN INSTEAD OF FEAR OF GOD
