What is your source of spiritual sustenance? Do you feel the need to attend Sunday services or conferences? Do you seek out teachers on Instagram, TicTok, Facebook, or YouTube? Do you feel that the last dose you got has been used up and you must get a fresh supply? Or have you emancipated yourself from all human props and been put into a place of glorious independence because you actually know your God? It wouldn’t matter if you were dropped into the middle of the wilderness because your know your God and can stand independently of all natural helps.
It is this kind of knowledge and an intimate relationship with Him that actually has power. It is this kind of experience that overcomes the world. It is this type of thing that if all other systems go down you will rise triumphantly above them. This is the secret of the real church, not the institutional systemized religious organization.
This independent personal knowledge of God from a genuine inward rebirth, that lives. The world can crumble around them but they that know their God continue on. These people know not only an objective truth, but a subjective truth that comes from vital personal experience and its working ability. First-hand knowledge, not a second-hand truth.
This is the goal that God would work this solid personal connection into our very being. This moment by moment vital relationship in which we walk with Him daily, guided by His Holy Spirit. Does it come all at once? Sometimes all we can take is fragments in part, but it should be our desire and our request of Him to work this out in us, and make it live in us.
Jesus came so that we might have this connection.
