“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.
Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded, because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you, when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.
Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, would have none of my counsel and despised all my reproof, therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices.
For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them; but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.” Proverbs 1:22-33
How long are we going to stay stubborn and refuse God’s calling, counsel, and warnings to us? As loving parents… do we not warn our children out of love and concern for their safety? God also warns us about the calamity that is coming if we continue to ignore His warnings and reproofs to us. How many today hate the truth? How many stubbornly refuse God’s words? Has this country totally forgotten Who is the One that is really in charge? Have you? Do you know what the real ‘fear of the Lord’ is? How many in His own ‘Church’ refuse to listen to the Holy Spirit? How many ignore His promptings for confession and repentance of sin? How many times have you pushed aside the small whisper of the Holy Spirit trying to get you to go another way? Are we headed straight into the storm?
Complacency and stubborn willful prideful ignorance will destroy and kill. But those who have an ‘ear to hear’ the Voice of the Lord will be secure and at ease. Have you listened to the words of the Holy Spirit to your heart and confessed you sin before Him? Have you made amends to Him and reconciled with Him through repentance? Are you listening to His wise counsel on how He wants you to prepare? Will you be God’s messenger and help when the storm hits and others are facing the terror that surrounds them? Are you secure in your ability to hear His Voice? Do you immediately act on His instructions to you?
Beloved … can you see the storm coming on the horizon? So many in the upper levels of leadership in this country HATE God, currently. Don’t listen to their lies, LOOK at what they do! What are their actions? Is their greed for absolute power and control being exposed every day? Is there any real concern for anyone else but themselves? Who do you listen to? The mainstream media propaganda now spews non-stop lies. It has become about ‘feelings’ rather than facts. Can you still discern the truth of things? Don’t look to the broken people as the answer to the country’s problems, look to the One who actually can calm the storm.
Be wise and discern who loves God and who does not. Who is blatantly killing children? Who are blatantly dismembering children? Who is supporting the human traffickers? Whose new policies are openly inviting violence and supporting those who use violence? Who is fueling the death war machine with your money? Who is promoting sexual deviancy with the youngest of children?
God HATES the spilling of innocent blood. (Proverbs 6:17) How many innocent lives have been killed in the womb in this country alone? Upwards of 70 million now? And how many have we promoted to be killed across the world making those countries adopt our ‘abortion’ killing practices? (Obama’s policies)
The storm is almost upon this nation, many might say the storm is already here. The choice set before us – is important. Can you hear His counsel? Will you do your duty before Him? Have you looked at who will lead this country? Have you researched on your own? Or are you going to be led by your ‘feelings’ rather than the counsel of God? With whom is your loyalty? To God? Which leaders are promoting God’s ways and which ones aren’t? Be wise and look at their actions and policies more than their words.
One side is going headlong into policies that GOD HATES. And the other side … is at least acknowledging God and our need for Him. One side acknowledges Jesus is King. One side does not. The choice is obvious.
ALL OF US humans are broken and in need of a Savior. There is NONE righteous before God other than Jesus. Who acknowledges Jesus Christ?
